Hi there, and welcome to my biography page!

My name is Elly Pour, and I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. I moved to British Columbia, Canada with my family at the age of 9, and I have called BC my home since. Nevertheless, I have always stayed close to my roots, and I visit Bulgaria almost every summer. In the process, I have done plenty of travel around Europe, visiting Greece, Italy, Spain and other European countries.

My absolute favorite destination so far was Florence, Italy; the atmosphere was so romantic, and the people were so friendly! When I am not travelling to far-off destinations, I am planning little trips that are closer to home; two summers ago, I went on a rock-climbing trip around BC and Alberta, which was amazing; Canada boasts such a ruggedly beautiful landscape, which is perfect for climbing and hiking trips.

As an active and outdoorsy person, it’s great living in a place with so many natural sights to enjoy. As part of my extended family moved to Austria recently, I am in the process of planning a visit to check out Vienna and other cities I’ve heard wonderful things about. As I have already done plenty of travel around Europe, I’d love to visit Asia and South America, which remain on my bucket list; my fiancé and I have tentative plans to visit Japan in the next few years. Travelling has always been one of my greatest passions, and I am excited to share my travel ideas and stories with all of you!
